Job summary

You will serve as a LEAD FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the SHIP MAINTENANCE ACCOUNTING DIVISION of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.

Major duties

You will lead a team of Financial Analysts and work closely with the Ship Maintenance Team and Project Managers, supporting Ship Availabilities. You will advise on phases or systems of budget administration. You will analyze and recommend alternative methods of financial management of programs and operations. You will perform fiscal, accounting or financial management duties and responsibilities. You will communicate assignments/projects, milestones, deadlines and timeframes for completion. You will communicate the organization’s strategic plan, mission, vision and values and incorporate these into the team’s goals, objectives, work products and services.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and interpreting financial information to provide guidance on budget execution and develop recommendations to resolve problems.
