Job summary
You will serve as a Financial Management Analysis within NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Major duties
You will perform or advises on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will develop, determine and interpret budgetary policies and practices. You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities.
Qualification
GS-11 Grade Level: Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience performing, supervising, or managing administrative work of a fiscal, financial management, accounting or budgetary nature equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as;1. Compiling budgetary information related to an organization's financial programs to meet reporting requirements.2. Analyzing, developing or maintaining financial metrics on a regular basis to report to management.3. Providing guidance on financial laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures to management, personnel or customers. GS-12 Grade Level: Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience performing, supervising, or managing administrative work of a fiscal, financial management, accounting or budgetary nature equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as;1. Analyzing, reconciling or evaluating financial data by applying knowledge of accounting principles and practices.2. Developing budget plans by conducting analysis of spending or cost projections.3. Performs or advises on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. Education
