The Boeing Company is seeking a highly accomplished Structural Analysis Engineer join the Mechanical & Structural Engineering Technical Task Force team in Charleston, SC and other locations.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Senior level 4 and 5 Structural Analysis Engineers.

This role plans and organizes structural analysis work to assure compliance with structural integrity and life-cycle stability requirements, develops and integrates solutions to complex structural vehicle-level evaluations, and coordinates across engineering disciplines to define product environment, performance, structural integrity/robustness and certification strategies.

The selected candidate will serve as a technical leader and trusted consultant to design, stress, loads, test, and program teams. They will apply advanced knowledge of aircraft structure, materials, loading conditions, manufacturing requirements, and analytical methods to deliver safe, certifiable, and high-quality products.

This position requires strong expertise in industry/regulatory engagements to enable product safety & quality through consulting design reviews, industry/OEM evaluation/benchmarking, and industry/regulatory working groups.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences).

  • 5+ years of experience do you have with structural analysis methods and repair principles (e.g., fatigue and corrosion, stress analysis, statics, materials strength, material characteristics, repair techniques, damage tolerance methods used in maintenance programs)?

  • 5+ years of experience in Structural Analysis

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in 787 and/or Composite Aircrafts

  • Strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills

  • Experience with ECS, Mechanical Systems

  • Experience with Boeing Commercial products and/or Defense & Space applications

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range for Senior level (Level 4):  126,650 - $171,350

Summary Pay Range for Senior level (Level 5):$154,700 - $209,300
