About the role
Be a part of an agile highly performing US-based sales team. DroneShield is looking for a Sales Director to sell into Public Safety accounts across the US. The role will report into Virginia-based Vice President of Sales. Competitive salary, attractive commission structure and comprehensive health insurance will be provided. 50% travel should be expected.Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations
- Grow and execute strategy for the US, across key public sector verticals
- Create and prioritize strategic target account lists
- Work with the broader team to set meetings, conduct demos, and visit prospects
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications
- Identify and conduct high level conversations with key decision makers
- Represent DroneShield at industry events
- Conduct demonstrations and installations of DroneShield systems
- Provide input in creation of marketing materials and messaging for specified customer groups
- Assist in providing distributor and end customer training in product use
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- 3-15 years sales experience within the public sector with a proven track record of success
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a geographically distributed team
- Excellent written/verbal communication
- Motivated self-starter
- Public Safety and or Law Enforcement experience is well regarded but not required
- High degree of attention to detail
