About the Role

DroneShield is seeking an Account Executive to manage customer relationships, support delivery, and drive commercial expansion across the U.S. The role combines account management, customer success, and project coordination, requiring strong communication skills, technical curiosity, and comfort in a fast‑paced environment. The role reports to VP of Sales.

Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations 
  • Act as the primary contact for assigned customers, maintaining strong relationships and understanding mission needs.
  • Lead post‑sales engagement, ensuring customers gain maximum value from DroneShield solutions.
  • Provide proactive outreach on feature updates, training, and product feedback.
  • Track account health, usage, KPIs, subscriptions, and renewals.
  • Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities and support pre‑sales activities such as demos and briefings.
  • Coordinate project timelines, deliveries, internal stakeholders, and customer communications.
  • Maintain accurate CRM inputs, forecasting, and documentation.
  • Recommend improvements to internal workflows and customer processes.
  • Travel up to 50%.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills 
  • BS degree in a relevant technical or business field and 5+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
  • Background in account management, customer success, technical support, or project coordination.
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer‑facing skills.
  • Ability to operate independently in a high‑growth, fast‑moving environment.
  • CRM experience
  • SaaS or software‑centric product experience (subscriptions, deployments, lifecycle engagement) is desirable.
  • Familiarity with technical products involving hardware/software integration is desirable.
  • Experience in Defense, government, critical infrastructure, or security‑focused sectors.
  • Experience supporting technical deployments or multi‑team delivery projects.
