About the role

Be a part of an agile highly performing US-based sales team. DroneShield is looking for a Sales Director to sell into Federal and Civilian accounts across the US. The role will report into Virginia-based Vice President of Sales. Competitive salary, attractive commission structure and comprehensive health insurance will be provided. 50% travel should be expected.

Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations

  • Grow and execute strategy for the US, across key Federal and Civilian agencies
  • Create and prioritize strategic target account lists
  • Work with the broader team to set meetings, conduct demos, and visit prospects
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications
  • Identify and conduct high level conversations with key decision makers
  • Represent DroneShield at industry events
  • Conduct demonstrations and installations of DroneShield systems
  • Provide input in creation of marketing materials and messaging for specified customer groups
  • Assist in providing distributor and end customer training in product use

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • 3-15 years sales experience within the Federal and Civilian marketplace with a proven track record of success
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a geographically distributed team
  • Excellent written/verbal communication
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Public Safety and or Law Enforcement experience is well regarded but not required
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Creative lateral thinker
