SAIC is looking for a Task Order Manager to oversee a portfolio of FAA ATEPS Task Orders with responsibility for cost, schedule, performance and growth.

The role is hybrid and requires at least 2 days/week onsite in Washington, DC.  

The Task Order Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of assigned task orders to ensure successful delivery of contractual requirements, schedule adherence, quality performance, and customer satisfaction. This role leads continuous process improvement activities and leverages AI tools and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, workforce productivity, and program performance.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Task Order Management:

  • Manage day-to-day execution of task orders, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, service level agreements, and performance metrics.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for government customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Interface with subcontractor management on assigned TOs, review subcontractor labor and cost forecasts, monitor subcontractor technical, schedule and cost performance.
  • Coordinate with customer and subcontract teammates regarding staffing changes to include additions, deletions, and increases/decreases in LOE.
  • Validate TO fund depletion (funding vs forecast), and work with Program Control Analysts (PCAs) and contracts to ensure execution without SAIC risk. If necessary, work with the customer to mitigate service interruptions due to funding or POP expiration.
  • Monitor task order performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Prepare and deliver program status reports, briefings, and executive-level communications.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and develop strategies to streamline workflows.
  • Analyze contract processes and performance metrics.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, and best practices to improve consistency and quality.
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage AI-powered solutions to improve program operations and business processes.
  • Utilize AI tools for resource planning and reporting automation.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 15 years or more of related experience; Masters and thirteen (13) years or more experience; may accept additional experience in lieu of degree.
  • 7+ years of program, project, or task order management experience.
  • Experience with generative AI platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP certification.

Required Clearance:

  • US Citizenship.
  • FAA Suitability: Ability to obtain and maintain FAA public trust and FAA resume approval. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • FAA experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations and government contracting practices.
  • Task Order Management.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
