Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Associate or ExperiencedProcurement Agent to join our Supply Chain (SC) Interiors Operations team in Everett, Washington or Renton, Washington.

The Seat Integration Supply Chain Operations team is growing and looking for procurement agents to work with suppliers and airlines around the world in developing, building, and delivering commercial airplane seating. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on developmental programs as part of an integrated product team, side by side with engineering and several other Boeing functions, as well as suppliers and airlines across Programs. This position requires the ability to adapt to changing situations and ability to travel domestic and international up to 25% of the time.  

 The selected candidate will be working in a very dynamic, fast-paced environment while learning new skills, solving challenging problems, and experiencing opportunities to grow in the Supply Chain organization. This position is supplier facing and will be responsible for managing the relationship with external suppliers and project managing all aspects of their performance while interacting also with Airlines across all Boeing Programs.

As an integral member of the Supply Chain Seat Integration team, the Procurement Agent will work with external suppliers and internal organizations, with a focus on seats development programs, certification, and customer introductions. This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organization to efficiently and effectively achieve development program milestones The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

  • Work development programs to support airline requests and airplane deliveries

  • Manage supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance

  • Communicate performance expectations and metrics to our suppliers to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.

  • Manage supplier production readiness for entry into service

  • Conduct risk, issues and opportunities management

  • Consults with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve supplier performance issues

  • Initiate and implement supplier recovery and improvement activities and manage mitigation plans

  • Gather and maintain data related to suppliers’ products portfolio

  • Partner with suppliers and internal Boeing organizations to develop recommendations on project-based offerability of seats to airlines customers

  • Facilitate communication and early engagement with airline customers and suppliers to establish seats selection for new Programs

  • Perform system transactions, data entry, prepares and presents technical information as needed

  • Provide analysis, propose solutions and manage expectations for solutions to meet Customer and Airplane Program requirements as necessary

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years of experience with project/ program management

  • 2+ years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes 

  • 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • 2+ years of experience with multi-tasking (i.e., handling daily work, urgent emerging issues, and phone call requests, etc.)

  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 25%)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes 

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher OR equivalent work experience

  • 1+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts

  • 1+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans

  • 1+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range:

Associate (Level 2): $80,170 – $101,200

Experienced (Level 3): $94,350 - $127,650
