The Lead Process Manufacturing Engineer will lead the manufacturing development of NPI (New Product Introduction) and NTI (New Technology Introduction). You will ensure that design for manufacturing (DFM) remains a priority throughout the product development cycle. You will provide feedback and direction to collaborative teams, resolve manufacturing challenges, and deliver documentation, tooling, and training to enable efficient production in a clean and safe manufacturing environment. You will work with relevant functional teams, and ensure safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives are met. This individual will be self-directed and hands-on with capability to manage multiple tasks within a day and prioritize short term needs requiring immediate attention.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the manufacturing process owner for new products from concept, through prototypes and into production.
  • Lead build of prototypes and engineering development units to validate manufacturability and refine processes.
  • Lead or support PPAP/FAI packages for new products, including control plans, capability data, and process documentation.
  • Lead PFMEAs for new processes, identifying risks and implementing preventive controls and mistake-proofing (poka-yoke).
  • Capture and share NPD lessons learned, feeding back into design guidelines, process standards, and future NPD projects.
  • Lead installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment and tooling for NPD manufacturing lines or cells.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience) + Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience

Desired Characteristics & Experience:

  • Associates degree with 6 years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.

The base pay range for this position is $87,000 - $116,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on June 10th, 2026 .
