Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Manufacturing Operations Analysts (Level 3 and Level 4) to join the 737 Wings & Final Assembly Improvements teams in Renton, Washington.

Key duties will be working line-side with the manufacturing team to identify and overcome production system constraints using lean tactics. Organizational and project management skills will be required to coordinate and accomplish improvement initiatives. Initiative and team work collaboration skills are critical.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria

  • Analyzes and interprets data

  • Provides feedback on assessment results

  •  Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes

  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans

  • Data analytics, Proficient with Microsoft office suite, Problem Solving, Project Management, actively contributes in a cross-functional environment to achieve project objectives, Bridges the gap between management and operations by conducting regular Gemba walks to gather direct feedback and drive continuous improvement

  • Manages capital portfolio including forecasting, prioritizing, Opportunities and Risks, monthly capital expenditures. Building business cases and capital presentations to present to Leadership

  • Manages Rolling stock assets by monitoring data and PM schedules to ensure equipment reliability with 737 Fleet team

  • Bay Integration: Manages Building space and occupancy requirements. Manage visualization activity used to map out the relationships, dependencies, and hierarchies within a system

  • Leads quality projects in manufacturing environment to reduce defects

  • Manages Boeing problem solving model in response to audit findings

  • Communicates project implementation to all stakeholders to ensure a seamless change

  • Presents project status and help needed to Leadership

  • Participate in Value stream team meetings and partner with Engineering to complete projects

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 

  • 1 + years of experience partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

  • 1 + years of experience in Data Analysis

  • 1 + years in a role that requires effective communication with employees, customers, peers and multiple levels of leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 4: 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ability to work on variable shifts as needed

  • Lean certification (Accelerated Improvement Workshop, Six Sigma, 3P)

  • 1 + years of experience with Project Management

  • 1 + years of experience working in a production environment

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range for Level 3: $102,600 - $125,400

Summary Pay Range for Level 4: $126,000 - $154,000
