Insitu has an immediate need for an IT Support Technician for a contract opportunity that is onsite in Bingen, WA. This role troubleshoots, services, and repairs a wide variety computer hardware, software, and AV equipment. Provides IT support to customers, responds to service requests, find fixes, workarounds and final solutions by troubleshooting issues while providing exemplary customer service. Maintains support logs and issues tracking, provides instructions to user on a wide variety of applications and equipment. Must be technically capable and a self-starter with strong organizational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Initial system configuration of computers, peripheral equipment, and software
  • Develops standard guidelines to be used for self-help and/or responding to customer requests
  • Respond to tickets in accordance with established guidelines
  • Record, track, and document the help desk request problem solving process including actions taken through to the final resolution
  • Respond in timely manner to requests and issues
  • Repair and replace equipment as needed
  • Provide onsite and remote support to end users
  • Elevates and coordinates out of scope technical issues
  • Assesses needs and recommends hardware or software to meet end user needs
  • Enters purchase requisitions as necessary

    Education and Experience:

    • 3 years of related experience and an Associate's degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.

    Must be able to commute to Bingen, WA. Position is an on-site role.
