Boeing's Safety, Security, & Airworthiness (SSA) organization is seeking a highly motivated and ExperiencedBusiness Intelligence Analyst to join our Regulatory Administration team in Everett, WA. The successful candidate will possess a passion for data, a highly analytical mind, and excellent presentation skills to effectively influence decision-making in a fast-paced growth environment. This role requires a strong background in Power BI and SQL, with a focus on delivering insightful data-driven solutions.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be instrumental in transforming complex data into actionable insights, supporting critical regulatory administration functions. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to define reporting needs, develop advanced dashboards, and contribute to the automation of analytical tasks.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Responsible for designing Business Intelligence information models, dashboards, metrics and reports utilizing standard technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives.
  • Construct complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate large, structured datasets from relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata).
  • Develop, maintain, and automate advanced dashboards and interactive visualizations in Tableau or Power BI to report trends, benchmarks, and key performance metrics.
  • Utilize Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib) for data cleaning, transformation, and automation of analytic tasks.
  • Leverage expert-level skills in Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas) and PowerPoint for management reporting.
  • Conduct descriptive statistics, root-cause analysis, and create business intelligence information models.
  • Partner with internal customers to define performance metrics and reporting needs.
  • Manage BI projects, defining requirements, and ensuring timely delivery of reports to leadership.
  • Ensure data quality and validate information models.
  • Utilize AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to accelerate analysis and documentation, while adhering to strong practices for validating outputs and protecting sensitive data.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience in writing and using SQL
  • Experience using Tableau, Power BI or other analytics tools to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery
  • Experience with Python
  • Knowledge and experience in data analysis algorithms (e.g. data mining, statistics, machine learning, natural language processing, text mining, visual analytics) and building Descriptive, Predictive and Prescriptive models

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • Direct experience managing and contributing to large and complex BI projects
  • Experience working with statistical methods (i.e., segmentation models, regression analysis, trend analysis, etc.)
  • Extensive experience working with WebSphere, Perl, Spring Boot, Git, GitLab,
  • Experience with building ETL pipelines

Summary Pay Range: $102,850 - $139,150
