Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a 787 Customer Account Manager (Level 5)to join our Component Services Program (CSP) team in Chicago, IL. In this role, the focus will be on diligent and prudent business management, customer management, and enabling the IPT to meet internal and external performance targets (including P&L).

Position Responsibilities:

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Leads day-to-day customer management responsibilities with accountability to the  787 Program Manager

  • Manages and improves Customer contract administration, Customer Management, and Operational Health

  • Aggregates and analyzes data, develops develop data driven recommendations, actions, solutions, and monitors and manages through completion

  • Partners with supply chain, supplier management, repair management, engineering, and IT to provide performance oversight on technical, cost, schedule, and quality

  • Collaborates with key Airline customers and internal stakeholders at various levels including executives on the execution of the Component Services Program contracts

  • Leads customer contract administration, contract scope, and change management processes. Manages and communicates contract health (financial, performance)

  • Leads and integrates the implementation of Program Management Best Practices and lessons learned across the portfolio

  • Leads cross functional teams and manages projects and key initiatives from start to finish

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years’ experience with Program Management

  • 5+ years’ experience utilizing critical business and financial acumen to manage risks, issues, and opportunities to drive performance

  • 10+ years’ experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. customers, suppliers, peers and/or partners)

  • 10+ years’ experience developing and executing operating rhythms, integrated program schedules, project plans, and metrics

  • 10+ years’ experience aggregating and analyzing data to develop data driven recommendations to inform business decisions

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years’ experience working with aerospace aftermarket industry

  • 5+ years’ experience with airline flight operations

  • 5+ years’ experience with Supply Chain

  • Ability to support phone calls during non-business hours (evenings and early mornings)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $156,400 - $211,600
