SAIC has an immediate position for two (2) Plans, Strategy, and Posture Future Operations (FUOPS) Integrator located onsite at Shaw Air Force Base, SC.

The USARCENT/CFLCC G-35 FUOPS directorate coordinates and synchronizes Operation EPIC FURY cross-staff and unit planning efforts on a 24-hour to 3-month horizon to ensure the CFLCC Commander's intent, guidance, and “top items” are rapidly planned and integrated with staff and units and then turned into daily actionable orders.   

PLANS, STRATEGY, AND POSTURE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Integrate and pass down Operation EPIC FURY CFLCC G-5 strategic, ACCM, and posture planning to CFLCC G35 FUOPS for OPT integration and order development.
  • Produce OPORDs, FRAGORDs, TASKORDs, Information Papers, Information and Decision Briefings, Talking Points, EXSUMs, and CONOPs for the employment CFLCC forces and capabilities.
  • Participate and collaborate in EPIC FURY planning to develop OPORDs and CONOPs for the CFLCC G-35 and G-3/5/7.
  • Attend CFLCC G5 and CENTCOM J5 meetings to represent G35 planning and coordination equities.

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelors and fifteen (15) years or more of related experience; Masters and thirteen (13) years or more experience; PhD or JD and ten (10) years or more experience.

DELIVERABLES:

  • Liaison with external organizations to support strategic planning that is compartmentalized down into FUOPS planning.
  • Conduct mission analysis long range EPIC FURY planning and provide resulting decision briefs.
  • Produce EPIC FURY FRAGORDs, Information Papers, Information and Decision Briefings, Talking Points, and EXSUMs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Maintain TS/SCI and JWICS account access to gain a comprehensive understanding of US military Special Technical Operations (STO), Special Access Programs (SAP), and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) war plans in support of G-35 FUOPS planning and integration.
  • Veteran with a minimum of MEL 4 certification.
  • Availability for occasional CONUS TDY.
