Summary

Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance professional to maintain and repair buildings, equipment, and grounds across multiple trades, including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.

This role involves performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks, inspecting facilities and equipment, identifying issues, and completing repairs to help prevent downtime and support daily operations.

The ideal candidate is skilled with tools, able to read blueprints and wiring diagrams, and brings strong trade knowledge, attention to safety, and a solid work ethic. Knowledge of applicable codes and regulations is required, and some trade certifications may be needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform a wide range of facility maintenance tasks, including carpentry, flooring, sheetrock repair, and painting.
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility and production equipment.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical systems, and production machinery.
  • Perform general welding, millwright, and carpentry activities as needed.
  • Complete preventive, predictive, electro-mechanical, and mechanical maintenance assignments.
  • Diagnose maintenance issues, exercise sound judgment, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Provide guidance and task support to lower-level peers as needed.
  • Maintain shop and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
  • Follow established work procedures, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Support overtime and other maintenance-related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant maintenance experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related maintenance experience.
  • Valid state issued Driver's License.
