BGS Engineering is looking to hire a first line leader, this position is specifically responsible with leading a team of project managers who are responsible for the delivery of F-15 Support Engineering Data deliverables (Tech Data, Product Support Analysis, Provisioning), ensuring adherence to technical and product quality standards, and integrating internally across all Product Support elements (Pubs, PSA, Provisioning, Retrofit, SE, etc)) and externally with business partners, suppliers and customers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in product lifecycle support, program/project management and change management.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages, develops, and motivates employees performing multi-disciplinary product support roles.
  • Leads planning and integration activities for MxE programs supporting BDS & BGS USAF Fighter and Trainer Solutions.
  • Applies knowledge of product support disciplines and program management best practices.
  • Develops business objectives; develops internal policies, charters, and plans.
  • Integrates technical design practices, first pass quality initiatives and content management/sustainment strategies.
  • Develops and maintains partnerships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Provides technical product support to supplier management for oversight and coordination of supplier activities.
  • Coordinates and directs use enterprise software for workflow management, technical design/development, quality control and delivery of training products.
  • Ability to work on-site 5 days per week.
  • Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 1+ years of experience collaborating with senior management and/or executive leadership
  • Experience leading and organizing deliverables to meet deadlines with minimal direction
  • 3+ year of experience in the aerospace industry
  • Experience using Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and processes and methods

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $129,200 – $174,800
