The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Lead Supplier Quality Specialist to join our team in El Segundo, CA. The selected candidate will work with the Metrology and Test Equipment Services (MATES) organization to determine Supplier Quality requirements for suppliers.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads audits and assessments of complex suppliers’ systems, processes and products
Documents and reports audit and assessment results
Delegates product acceptance responsibility to suppliers
Assesses capability and capacity of suppliers to perform current or potential future work
Provides education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives
Develops training materials and other resources to support improvements in supplier performance and productivity
Creates and reviews command media to identify process improvements and continuous improvements
Review purchase requisitions and purchase orders to ensure Quality requirements are flowed to the supplier
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Do you meet this requirement?
3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineer, or Supplier Quality Specialist
3+ years of experience working with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100))
Willing and able to travel domestically 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree of higher
1+ year of experience working in MATES or other calibration services
Knowledge of ISO 17025 requirements

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range for Lead level (Level 4): $130,050 – $175,950
