Boeing Global Services (BGS) is a dedicated services business, focused on the needs of Global Defense, Space, Commercial, business and general aviation customers and has an exciting opportunity for an AssociateIndustrial Engineer to join the team in the Dallas, TX area.

This role will provide support to operations of the multiple warehouses, domestically and internationally, conducting time studies, storage management and implementation of process improvements.  This role will also involve knowledge and skills around capacity and storage planning in addition to safety/ergonomic initiatives.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support capacity and storage strategy analysis within the warehouses.

  • Support Engineering and Continuous Improvement team members with projects, data collection and miscellaneous tasks.

  • Process documentation utilizing Visio.

  • Assist and support new design request within the facilities.

  • Support the capacity, efficiencies, problem and improvements of storage equipment.

  • Provide support to Central Distribution Center and Chemical Management Center management teams as required.

  • Identifies and implements improvements to processes by analyzing current processes and utilizing established improvement methodologies to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and to support company improvement initiatives.

  • Develops, implement, maintains, and statuses integrated warehouse and shop operating plans to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and to reduce inventory and meet cost and schedule commitments.

  • Develops and supports shop performance metrics by analyzing data to recommend plan of action for Warehouse Management.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. S 120.15 is required.  “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • 1+ years of experience in using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables

  • 1+ years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment

  • 1+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Possess experience in problem solving and improvement projects

  • Experience working with capacity management databases and technologies

  • Experience in Lean processes and implementation

  • Experience in leading recovery planning activities that include performance to plan measures to ensure effectiveness

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge and experience in SAP (Titan and/or S/4HANA) ERP software

Summary pay range:              89,250 – 120,750
