You will serve as a Lead Purchasing Agent in the Training Systems Procurement Department of NAWCTSD ORLANDO.

Major duties

You will lead and organize the work of purchasing technicians to improve workflow and services. You will oversee the purchase card program as the Approving Official, ensuring all activities are compliant. You will approve cardholder procurements and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. You will certify monthly statements and validate invoices before authorizing vendor payments. You will perform various clerical duties, including correspondence, record-keeping, and reporting.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band (DG-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Ability to lead a team and manage workload priorities for the team; 2) Performing complex purchasing work, utilizing technical purchasing methods and procedures; 3) Making purchases involving commercial requirements and average complexity; 4) Utilizing purchasing regulations, policies, and procedures; 5) Using solicitation and purchasing methods; and 6) Providing superior customer service in determining and purchasing customer requirements.
