The selected candidate will become an integral part of the Advanced Weapons Pricing & Estimating team tasked with providing guidance and support to the business unit activities. The ideal candidate will be proactive and have the ability work in a fast-paced environment. This position will be located on-site in Northridge, CA.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Work in a team environment to develop proposals in response to customer requests
- Prepare Proposals in compliance with applicable government regulations and internal policies
- Present proposal recommendations to management
- Prepare certified cost and pricing data packages
- Support proposal audits and negotiations with customers
This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine‑hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications for a Pricing Analyst Level 2:
- High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting or related experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting related experience - OR - a Master's degree with 0 years of Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting related experience
- Experience in pricing, finance, contracts, business and/or business operations.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and complete work timely in a deadline driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools/applications, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced Excel skills is highly preferred.
- Prior Price Estimating experience
- Experience with ProPricer
- Experience with Cost/Price Analysis
- Analytical Skills
- Presentation skills
- Organizational/Time Management skills and ability to multitask
- Self-motivated and works well in team environment
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other U.S. Federal Government contracting regulations
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
