Major duties

Analyze inventories in relation to projected needs and gives guidance on backup stock requests. Work with the Property Book Officer to plan monthly inventories of accountable items and investigate inventory shortages giving results of findings to the Training Support Officer. Determine quantities required to maintain adequate customer satisfaction and accommodation. Coordinate all service-related actions to obtain the necessary support and supplies related to the accomplishment of the mission. Provide guidance to hand receipt holders regarding property transactions and assists in preparing related documents. Research vendors and prepare purchase requests for submission. Perform duties as primary hand receipt holder for all Training Aids, Devices, Simulations, and Simulators (TADSS). Analyze changes in demand, changes in customer demand patterns, new equipment and supplies which create new supply requirements. Prepare hand receipts and maintains receipt records for all non-expendable property.

OR Education: For this job, you may qualify if your education meets the definitions below:Education may be substituted for specialized experience with a Ph.D. (or equivalent doctoral degree), 3 years (54 semester hours) of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.M. directly related to this position from an accredited college or university. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and specialized experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements must have less than 1 year; and have less than 3 years (54 semester hours) of graduate education. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond 2 years (36 semester hours) by 18. Add the 2 percentages. Note: For the purpose of qualifications, 1 year of graduate education is equivalent to 18 semester hours.Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts with your application package.
