You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST in the SECURITY DIVISION of NAVBASE POINT LOMA SEC DET.
Major duties
You will assign work to junior level employees on the basis of selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of the employee. You will administer and manage Personnel, Information, or Physical Security programs to support operations. You will assess security threats or vulnerabilities to recommend mitigating actions.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing management, antiterrorism and physical security program guidance; 2) Planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting deadlines, priorities, and schedules for completion; 3) Reviewing work methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness; 4) Developing performance standards for subordinates; 5) Identifying and apply new technologies, theories and security concepts for defense of the installation and mitigation of vulnerabilities; 6) Overseeing local treat assessment information provided by other law enforcement and homeland security organizations.
