Major duties

You will be responsible for the management, operation, maintenance, repair, disposition and safe operation of all GME fleet equipment and assigned facilities. You will oversee management of inventory including automotive vehicles, material handling equipment, weight handling equipment and construct equipment, tailoring the inventory to meet the installation's requirements. You will prepare and forecast budgets and long-range resource projections. You will authorize procurement of supplies, parts, equipment and services. You may be required to support large scale exercises and deployments requiring the movement of personnel, supplies and equipment to a variety of ports and destinations You will supervise department employees, determining work schedules and management of resources to ensure the most efficient and effective completion of fleet functions.

Qualification

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing fleet commercial equipment including analyzing and managing equipment inventory, preparing and forecasting budgets and long-range resource projections and overseeing equipment maintenance programs.
