You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NAVSUP FLC YOKO REG . ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Major duties

You will advise all aspects of logistics mission accomplishments and major policy revisions required to ensure effective logistics support. You will ensure logistics organizational changes are carried out in an effective manner and that resources are properly applied to meet command goals. You will coordinate and integrate work activities of several organizational segments and/or several different projects at any one time. You will ensure that agreements with logistics service providers and recipients of FLC Yokosuka's reimbursable logistics services are established, monitored and updated. You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work. You will hear and resolve complaints from employees, referring group grievances and more serious unresolved complaints to a higher level supervisor or manager. You will make decisions on work problems presented by subordinate team leader(s) or supervisor(s), or similar personnel, or by contractors. You will brief senior leadership and visitors on logistical operations within the Commander Navy Region Japan, US Forces Japan, and INDOPACOM AOR.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Advising on all aspects of logistics mission accomplishments and major policy revisions required to ensure effective logistics support. Briefing of all senior leadership and official visitors on logistical operations. Supervising the development of logistics operation plans, strategies and objectives. Providing short and long term logistics personnel requirements and budget data.
