You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the Ammunition Supply Chain Strategy (ASCS) Division of NAVSUP AMMO LOG CENT MECH.

Major duties

You will ensure afloat Ammunition Management Accountability Reviews (AMAR) are scheduled and executed in accordance with current DOD/SECNAV/OPNAV/NAVSUP policy. You will exercise experienced judgment to apply appropriate level of analysis and evaluation to develop approaches that solve varied ordnance supply processing and systems problems. You will oversee the development and application of training curriculums in support of NALC's role as agent for inventory management sustainment training to the fleet. You will provide supervision/oversight for the execution of inventory accuracy validation, audit support, fleet customer ordnance stockpile support and execution of AMAR via the Mobile Fleet Support Team (MFST) to include scheduling and reporting.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating expertise in Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Navy (DoN), and Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) end-to-end ordnance inventory management and ammunition sentencing policy and processes. Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on complex projects. Experience in assigning, carrying out, and tracking deadlines of delegated workload on multiple fronts. Ability to represent command externally, often at the senior level. Experience mentoring junior employees.
