You will serve as a Supervisory IT Specialist (Policy and Planning) in the IT Division, S6 Department of MCAS BEAUFORT SC.

Major duties

You will supervise the daily performance of IT personnel to include Marines, Civil Service personnel, and contractors. You will develop a variety of correspondence (e.g. command orders, directives, standard operating procedures, reports briefing, point papers, positions paper, and talking papers, etc.) You will maintain lines of communication with other installation's G6/S6 staffs throughout the Marine Corps. You will plan and perform all functions for the delivery of network services throughout the region by developing project Plans of Action and Milestone, timelines, budgetary requirement, system/network resources usage policies and procedures. You will provide direction, guidance, and develop policy for local telecommunication network and system operating units, centers, or network control facilities.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing policy related to local telecommunication network and system operating units, centers or network control facilities; AND, managing short- and long-range planning efforts to accomplish the organization's mission, goals, and objectives. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
