Major duties

Providing life cycle acquisition support for software solutioning, as part of the J62X System Applications and Products Platform. Managing the deployment of secure software solutions into the ERP and its subsystems, in support of DLA... ...architecting, designing, developing, testing, and deploying secure software solutions to implement new/enhanced functionality into the ERP and its subsystems in support of DLA. Managing the application and enforcement of DLA Information Operations standards methods and procedures for the execution of product development and maintenance functions. Planning, directing, and evaluating the activities of subordinates/assigned staff who ensure capability outcomes prescribed; includes the architecting, design, development, coordination and maintenance of application software. Developing contract packages for acquisition of services and products. Providing leadership and oversight to subordinates to support prescribed outcomes, including those tasked in contract administration capacities (e.g., COR COTR). Identifying, tracking and assessing standard metrics for capability development and support processes. Providing software sustainment, customer service, and resolution of software related incidents. Reviewing and accepting software deliverables developed, for the ERP, in support of DLA. Representing activities at joint technical and management reviews.

Qualification

To qualify for a Supervisory IT Specialist (PLCYPLN) your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Utilizing a thorough, comprehensive knowledge of Automated Information Systems (AIS) principles and procedures to achieve software capabilities support and deployment outcomes, including realization and support for ongoing and evolving auditability and cyber-security requirements. Managing costs and schedules through fiscal accountability and control. Exercising broad program management responsibilities with respect to the accomplishment of capabilities delivery, management, and support. . Collaborating with customer to manage expectations and coordinate outcomes for maintenance and capability delivery. Leveraging a diverse support team including hosting, contracting and cyber-security specialists to achieve required outcomes.
