Major duties

Leads and directs a team of specialists responsible for providing expert guidance and support to the Enterprise Business Cycle Owner (EBCO) in coordinating audit readiness... ...process management, and organizational assessments within DLA Information Operations Establish annual team audit and testing plans, goals, objectives and performance metrics aligned with DLA strategic objectives, audit requirements, and best practices, monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions as needed Provides oversight and strategic direction for the development and implementation of policies and procedures to sustain a robust IT audit readiness posture, ensuring effective designation and operation of general and application controls Ensures the team maintains a comprehensive understanding of audit readiness and controls processes of the IT Life cycle/Business cycle Serves as a strategic consultant to senior leadership, providing expert advise and recommendations on audit readiness and process optimization strategies

Qualification

To qualify for a Supervisory IT Business Program Support Analyst your qualifications must include: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Prepares and presents high-level briefings and reports to senior leadership on audit readiness status, process improvement initiatives, and organizational assessment results Identifies and champions innovative solutions to improve audit readiness posture, reduce risks, and enhance operational efficiency Provides strategic direction and oversight for the team's role as lead facilitators in continuous process improvement projects or events, ensuring effective management of overall CPI capability for the organization Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
