Job summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INSPECTOR GENERAL in the DEPARTMENT of NAVY of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON. This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number: ST-12703009-25-ARB. Applicants that have previously applied NEED to re-apply to this announcement.

Major duties

You will be responsible for independently planning and carrying out assignments; determine an appropriate approach; interpret policy and regulations and resolve simple and complex issues as they arise. You will be thoroughly involved in all aspects of the Command Inspector General's office. You will advise on laws, rules, regulations, investigative techniques and procedures to assure legal rights of the witnesses. You will provide establish and maintain communication with Inspector General technical channels throughout the Armed Forces. You will prepare clear, concise, accurate, unbiased reports of investigation and draw conclusions, which are supported by technically, or legally substantiated evidence.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing full range of Inspector General management, providing expert knowledge in regulatory guidance and policies working with complex, highly controversial and sensitive issues, compliance and violations with regulation requirements, effective internal controls, exercising interpretation, judgement and proposing solutions.
