You will serve as a Supervisory General Supply Specialist in the Aviation Supply Division of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT Philadelphia PA.
Major duties
You will be responsible for overseeing all retail aviation spare allowances such as developing, reviewing, negotiating and delivering allowance products in order to provide advice and guidance to allowance developers. You will have knowledge of equipment/system acquisition, initial spares budgeting, provisioning, inventory management, allowance preparation, requirements determination, purchasing, and material identification etc.. You will have knowledge of various information systems such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Readiness Suite, DECKPLATE, Relational Supply (R-Supply), and Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS). You will ensure that all allowance products are developed and delivered in accordance with command guidance.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector developing aviation allowance projects (AVCALs, SHORCALs, MALSP MOD) using Readiness Suite, managing the aviation allowance process, and maintaining the integrity of aviation allowance products delivered to the fleet customer. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing comprehensive analytical and technical oversight required to ensure that retail allowances are effectively planned for and executed; 2) Demonstrating a high level of skill in written and oral communication and all Microsoft Office applications; 3) As a leader of the Aviation Allowance Division must be able to leverage these skills to train and develop others to execute aviation allowance projects; and 4) Managing multiple large projects simultaneously and holding aviation allowance developers accountable to project goals and deadlines.
