Job summary

You will serve as a SECURITY ASSISTANT (OA) in the Public Safety Function and serves as Pass and Identification Assistant of NAS PATUXENT RIVER SECURITY DETACHMENT.

Major duties

You will prepare, issue and track Security Access Badges for major and Tenant Commands. You will approve access rosters and verifies updates are posted promptly at approved access points. You will prepare reports of findings and submits to his/her supervisor. You will conducts traffic and parking studies for commands

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing related duties such as: 1) Providing clerical support to an organization by maintaining files; 2) Reviewing and preparing correspondence; 3) Using databases, answering and directing visitors and telephone calls to the appropriate office; and 4) Approving access rosters and ensuring updates are posted promptly at designated access points for approved visitors.
