You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER (RADIOLOGICAL CONTROL) in the PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF . The location for this position is Garden Island, Australia. Employee's initial pay and compensation will be based upon their current duty station and/or residence as determined by the employing activity. Major duties

You will coordinate work with other first-line supervisors within the division to ensure proper coverage in all assigned areas and to work out job priorities and procedures to be used where overlap occurs. You will establish performance standards and evaluates performance of employees. You will make decisions for appointments, promotions or reassignments within the division. You will be responsible for the direction of the work of the Radiological Control Office and is held accountable for the effective conduct of the Australia Maintenance Support RADCON Program. You will develop goals and program plans; determining and allocating personnel and financial resources; and insuring interface of effort between other organizations to accomplish command policy, program, and mission. You will function as SRF-West’s chief consultant on all aspects of the Radiological Control Program. You will have overall responsibility for the technical and administrative direction of all personnel and functions encompassed by the organization.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Proven expert ability in technical and managerial field comparable to the scope, complexity, and significance of a shipyard Radiological Control Program to apply this knowledge in various aspects of the job; policy making, problem solving, mentoring, and engaging with Naval Seas System Command (NAVSEA) and civil authorities. Expert knowledge and understanding of the Shipyard organization, Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program, and radiological controls program. Experience with analyzing program, organizational, and mission performance and evaluative methods to apply regulatory requirements or changes to the program.
