Job summary

You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Launcher/Platform Integration Division of CPS PROGRAM OFFICE.

Major duties

You will develop and approve platform requirements and ensuring CPS subsystems meet those requirements and are deployed appropriately to provide capability to the warfighter. You will provide multi-discipline direction, Engineering Management and Program Management to the CPS Program based on applicable experience. You will perform Program Management and Coordination of other organizations and Subject Matter Expert (SME) efforts. You will draft, analyze, integrate, review and provide recommendations to Senior Strategic System Programs (SSP) and Program Office Leadership for milestone and other documentation in accordance with Government, DOD and Navy regulations. You will direct and coordinate the delivery and integration of CPS capability to air-based, sea-based, and land-based platforms as needed to meet CPS Program objectives. You will be responsible for coordination of acquisition life-cycle concepts to deliver needed performance, reliability, sustainability, maintainability of product deliverables. You will represent SSP at higher echelon Navy and DOD activities or in negotiations with other activities as well as with SSP branches as required to ensure the success of the CPS mission.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band (NH-02) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and assessing new standards and methods to develop innovative policies and integrate into the administration and operation of air-based, sea-based and/or land-based platforms for Weapon System programs.
