Job summary
You will serve as a MISCELLANEOUS SHOPS SUPERVISOR II in the HULL DIVISION of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Major duties
You will manage complex and concurrent workloads requiring the coordinated efforts of structurally dissimilar trades. You will coordinate with engineering, planning, quality assurance, and senior production managers to resolve technical issues and align execution priorities with operational and SUBSAFE requirements. You will establish performance standards, conduct performance appraisals, initiate disciplinary actions, and ensure compliance with EEO, labor-management, and incentive award programs. You will oversee a Production Controller responsible for labor tracking, scheduling coordination, and shop metrics reporting. You will review and validate cost and scheduling data submitted by the controller in support of Hull Division reporting and planning functions. You will manage the execution and compliance of mandatory training, qualification, and certification programs, including those involving nuclear work, RADCON controls, and complex plant machinery. You will direct troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance efforts for mission-essential facility systems in support of both submarine and industrial operations. You will oversee compliance with electrical safety standards, control system diagnostics, and environmental controls, ensuring all plant systems meet TRIREFFAC-KB operating requirements and safety codes. You will act as the principal liaison for Hull Division’s miscellaneous and maintenance shops during senior-level production meetings, quality reviews, and command planning events. You will develop and execute annual budgets, workload projections, manpower planning documents, and material/resource requests.
