You will serve as a MARKETING SUPPORT ASSISTANT (OA) in the ???????the Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC) of NAVAL STATION.
Major duties
You will organize, prepare, edit, and proofread a variety of marketing materials. You will continuously review posted information of the Region's Quality of Life website. You will investigate malfunctions associated with information systems. You will answer questions and explain procedures relating to basic equipment usage and maintenance. You will utilize multiple office automation software, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, to produce a wide variety of documents involving complex formats and extensive revisions. You will provide supportive administrative and clerical work.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of SPECIALIZED experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing administrative support (i.e., reviewing outgoing correspondence for required information and format); 2) Utilizing Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Office, Excel, and PowerPoint) to prepare reports; and 3) Using marketing techniques to design, develop and produce flyers, brochures, calendars and newsletters.
