Summary
Job summary
This position is located with the NAF Financial Management Office on Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives may be paid. Up to $10,000 recruitment or relocation incentive may be paid (service agreement required). Recruitment incentives are applicable to newly hired individuals/rehired individuals. Relocation incentives are applicable to current, regular full-time NAF employees accepting a position in a different geographical location with no break in service.
Major duties
Responsible for preparing and tracking NAF (Nonappropriated Fund) all civilian personnel actions in an automated system for accuracy prior to sending them to the HR personnel office. Review and screen Request for Personnel Actions (RPA) for elements that affect the organization structure or staffing levels. Monitors and reviews all NAF personnel performance evaluations at the organization’s headquarters level ensuring all submissions are in compliance with internal guidelines and policies. Receives and reviews all time and attendance records to ensure accuracy and completeness of submitted data. Establish, maintain and manage filing systems in accordance with Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS) for all correspondence, reports, payroll files, and proper record disposal.
Qualification
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Possess one (1) year of work experience performing duties such as managing time and attendance, reviewing documents and records for accuracy and compliance with internal policies or guidelines, and creating or maintaining administrative records and files. 2. Must have excellent working knowledge of automation. 3. Must know how to prepare and manage reports. 4. Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Power Point and experience in Microsoft Office software. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": 1. Experience working with a personnel database/system. 2. Experience working with Blueforce or a comparable timekeeping system. 3. Experience working with Corporate Electronic Document Management System (CEDMS) or a comparable report system. 4. Experience working with manning documents/tables of distribution and allowances (TDAs).
