The mission of the 47th Medical Group at Laughlin Air Force Base is to support the 47th Flying Training Wing’s medical, dental and aeromedical needs in support of Laughlin’s Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training mission. The medical group is responsible for the health care of more than 3,400 Department of Defense (DoD) beneficiaries and ensuring the medical readiness mission for wartime and worldwide contingencies.

About the Position: This position is located at Naval Medical Center, Defense Health Agency, Defense Health Network Pacific Rim, San Diego, CA Directorate of RM (Human Resources).

Major duties

Serves as the department supply officer. Conducts inventories of available supplies and ensures office supplies are ordered using approved supply systems Coordinates the data quality of the DMHRSi information with the Medical Administration Officers (MAOs) for each assigned directorate. Inputs, maintains, evaluates, and compares pertinent data and information. Documents errors and missing information, researches and obtains missing data, clarifies discrepancies and inconsistencies, and compiles reports. Gathers data, analyzes, and prepares NMCSD total force information. Gathers, analyzes, develops, and maintains operational, manpower, and historical data to prepare a variety of reports, such as organizational structure, resources utilization, mission, function, work processes, etc. Responsible for entering, removing, and reassigning personnel in the Defense Medical Human Resource System, internet (DMHRSi) system. Serves as the department's Property Custodian for accountable office equipment with the Medical Logistics Department (MLD) and Information Management Department (IMD).
