Major duties

Serves as the Program Analyst for Identity and Access Management (IdAM) Division in J64, Technology Foundation Services (TFS), DLA J6. Responsible for working with the Chief, Identity and Access Management(J64-DCD) Division and supporting the Network, Identity and Application Branches. Responsible for gathering, analyzing, documenting, evaluating, and/or improving efficiency of internal administrative operations, organizations, or management. Oversees special projects, conducts research and determines the best methods and procedure for collecting, analyzing and presenting information. Utilizes fact-finding skills and investigative techniques in researching, compiling, analyzing and summarizing a wide variety of resource data to determine optimal Identity, Credential and Access solutions. Advises on methods and procedures for providing administrative support systems and the potential benefits and uses of automation to improve the efficiency of administrative support or program operations.

Qualification

To qualify for a Management and Program Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: - Performs administrative analytical, planning and evaluative work requiring a high degree of qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, the ability to research problems and issues, written and oral communications skills and application of mature judgment in problem solving. - Plans for all program aspects including data integrity/accuracy and conducts special studies to track data and determine future management trends. - Researches and investigates new or improved business and management practices for application to agency programs or operations, or for senior staff; identifies data required for use in the management and direction of programs. - Assists in evaluating the effectiveness of Identity and Access Management programs and recommends program changes to meet the needs of TFS. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
