Major duties

Monitors and manages administrative management programs that will include the following: Financial, Personnel, Payroll, Training, Travel, Base Supply Support, Management Internal Control Program, Clerical and Administrative Staffing. Determines the effectiveness of the programs and establishes program modifications or develops new programs to meet the needs of the command and/or to comply with regulations and guidance. Establishes goals, strategies and priorities for the depot administrative systems and programs. Oversees special projects, requests, and various reports to determine the best method and procedure for collecting, analyzing and presenting information Conducts formal audits and analysis of critical programs and processes related to meeting command and control operational and accountability requirements.

Qualification

To qualify for a Management and Program Analyst, your qualifications must include: A. Specialized Experience: Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-11 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements, minimum qualifications and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Work involves the coordination and integration of numerous functions to include Financial, Personnel, Payroll, Training, Travel, Base Supply Support, Management Internal Control Program, Clerical and Administrative Staffing. Quantitatively and qualitatively analyzes and evaluates plans, programs and critical issues. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
