Job summary

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Installations and Logistics Department of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

Major duties

You will conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of logistics programs to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and audit standards. You will coordinate with representatives from various organizations to address program requirements and to provide comprehensive reviews of sensitive and complex issues, ensuring alignment with military requirements and interrelated functions. You will maintain and improve audit readiness, support the management of federal logistics business mission areas, strengthen internal controls, and ensure logistics reporting objectives are met. Perform and support audit site visits, sample collection, assessments, and reviews to uphold adherence to established policies and regulations. You will provide expertise in Supply, Maintenance, and Maintenance Management to support Service-directed initiatives for logistics policies and systems. You will support the development and delivery of training programs to ensure fair and consistent execution of audits and logistics program analyses. You will provide training to analyzed unit personnel to ensure effective remediation of assigned deficiencies when conducting compliance assessments.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience with audit readiness and compliance, federal logistics business mission areas, internal controls, and logistics reporting objectives.
