Major duties

You will serve as a technical expert in your assigned Information Technology (IT) technical area. You will manage projects characterized by such scope and complexity as to have impact across higher organizational levels. You will develop new approaches and techniques and extensive coordination to support the implementation and acquisition of a variety of IT systems, products and services. You will provide consultation and instruction to functional area users on complex IT programs and functions. You will represent command panels or committees that are convened to recommend command or Marine Corps wide policies and procedures. You will be performing needs analyses to define opportunities for new or improved solutions; consulting with customers to identify and specify requirements. You will be developing overall functional and systems requirements and specifications

Qualification

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience in applying Information Technology principles and practices; experience in Data Mangement and Systems Analysis. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
