Job summary
You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCE SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENTMENT & PLACEMENT) in the Civilian Human Resources Office-Southeast (CHRO-SE) Tri-Command Satellite Office of MARINE CORPS BASE.
Major duties
You will provide management advisory services and support affecting highly complex or unusual positions, unstable structures, and functions, frequently changing organizations with a variety of difficult positions. You will resolve difficult issues/problems requiring consideration of the staffing and classification program. You will advise on a full range of recruitment and classification functions and assist management in accomplishing human resource management responsibilities. You will prepare classification advisory services, resolving problems for complex organizational structure including hard to fill positions. You will advise and resolve complex issues involving compensation and pay, organization, position design, and workforce strategy. You will serve as a consultant to organizational leadership, guidance to supervisors, managers, and employees on all levels of the human resource community.
Qualification
GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing human resource rules, procedures, and operations for workforce shaping involving varying positions; applying fact finding techniques to draw conclusions and/or recommend problem resolutions; recommending initiatives to support strategic workforce planning program goals; and providing communication to a diverse audience on concerns, persuading to resolve issues and/or on new guidance. GS 09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting human resources program evaluations to determine if operations are consistent with prescribed policies and business practices; managing recruitment processes from request-to-fill to entrance-on-duty for an organization; reviewing employment applications to identify possible suitability issues; and providing communication to leadership on staffing concerns, persuading to resolve issues and/or on new guidance. Education
