Job summary
You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist (Employee Relations) in the Office of Civilian Human Resources Operations, Operations Support Directorate, Workforce Relations Department, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Office.
Major duties
You will collaborate with numerous contacts within the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) community to ensure uniform application of all administrative and operational policies and procedures. You will work closely with managers at the Office of Civilian Human Resources (OCHR) headquarters, OCHR Operations, and local commands to coordinate and resolve operational problems that cross organizational lines. You will work closely with the technology staff in OCHR Operations and OCHR Headquarters, in the evaluation and modification of software and products associated with the ADR program area. You will identify the need for and recommend new and/or changes to major ADR policies, plans and programs based on evolving changes in ADR guidance. You will develop and conduct comprehensive and continuing analyses of ADR issues to ensure quality and consistency in the administration of the ADR Program. You will serve as the ADR program manager, and will supervise two Human Resources Specialists and identify developmental and training needs. You will find ways to improve production or increase the quality of the work directed. You will be responsible supervising two Human Resources Specialists (Employee Relations).
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing comprehensive and continuing analyses of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) issues to ensure quality and consistency in the administration of the ADR Program.
