This position is located at the West Point Bowling Center. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives may be authorized if it is determined to be in the best interest of the Government.

Major duties

Manages a bowling facility. Formulates instructions and directives necessary to operate a fluid, profit generating business activity with a fluctuating customer base. Organizes, develops, implements and reviews programming, promotions, and special events to provide a garrison recreational service while maintaining a positive image in local community relations. Develops and manages leagues/tournaments and league/tournament services. Coordinates functions and special events with community, and military representatives. Oversees the operations of a variety of ancillary departments, and recreational activities i.e. pro shop, snack bar, billiards, catering services, bingo, recreation machines, internet services, video gaming, and other family-oriented revenue sources. Develops, implements and reviews activity business plan, including budget, marketing, and capital purchase and minor construction plans. Monitors the procurement of all supplies, equipment, and retail items for the activity.

Qualification

A qualified candidate must possess the following: A minimum of three years of experience in bowling center management. This experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. OR A two-year associates' degree in business related field plus two years of experience in bowling center management. OR. A four-year bachelor's degree in business related field plus one year of experience in bowling center management. The experience and education/certification must be reflected on your resume and supporting documentation such as transcripts, degrees, diplomas, certifications, etc. must be uploaded at the time of application to be considered eligible for this position.
