Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. Major duties

What to Expect Performs a variety of regional budget functions, including budget administration, preparation and monitoring of operating and capital budgets. Assists in the creation and management of overall division operating and capital budgets. Creates and monitors individual cost center budgets. Creates cost center budgets in conjunction with individual cost center managers, performing all training and coordination required during the budget process, and ensuring corrective action is recommended when budget variances occur. May perform a myriad of regional analytical and administrative functions to include preparing reports and correspondence for management briefings; preparing internal and external written correspondence for appropriate authority signature; acting as point of contact for state licensing requirements; responsible for conducting vulnerability assessments and internal control reviews as required. Responsible for a variety of unrelated regional administrative/operations functions such as; addressing conflicting program requirements; personnel requirements versus funding and ceiling limitations and develop alternatives or compromise solutions. Coordinate and oversee funding in regards to construction and other funding projects. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualification

What are we looking for? Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information technology, or related field from an accredited college or university is required. Master's degree is preferred. Four years of experience that demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, concepts, theories and techniques. Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations preferred. Current MCCS financial management experience preferred. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
