Job summary
You will serve as a Facility Operations Specialist in the Facilities and Space Management Division, Infrastructure Business and Operations Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Major duties
You will develop requirements for facility modification, replacement, or construction. You will make recommendations based on analysis and findings in the facility allocation, use, modification, and acquisition processes. You will serve as a facilities project technical point of contact and provides ongoing, day-to-day facilities liaison support between NAVAIR/NAWCWD and the service providers. You will support the proper and timely execution of all NAWCWD facilities sustainment, restoration and modernization investments, specifically in the areas of facilities master planning and engineering design.
Qualification
DA-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band (DA-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Performing work related to facilities repair and determining requirements for the customer needs; 2) Identifying maintenance, repair work, new construction, alteration projects, replacement of existing equipment, or facilities services; 3) Managing building components, various types of project construction, and project management, while overseeing space moves and relocation; 4) Developing facility and equipment requirements against customer needs and learn to develop project scopes. DA-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band (DA-02) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Performing work related to facilities repair and determining requirements for the customer needs; 2) Assisting with identifying maintenance, repair work, new construction, alteration projects, replacement of existing equipment, or facilities services; 3) Assisting with managing building components, various types of project construction, and project management, while overseeing space moves and relocation; 4) Assisting with developing facility and equipment requirements against customer needs and learn to develop project scopes. Education
