Job summary

You will serve as a ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST in the ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE & PROTECTION DIVISION of MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII.

Major duties

You will serve as a Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and is responsible for defining project requirements and developing a Statement of Work or specifications. You will participate in the evaluation of the technical proposals and providing recommendations to the Contracting Officer. You will manage environmental compliance facilities and programs for Marine Corps Base Hawaii. You will provide environmental compliance program management related to tanks management, storm water management, and spill avoidance and response. You will monitor the contractor’s progress and expenditures; perform inspections; resolve technical issues; and assist in contract closeout.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Managing environmental compliance facilities and programs, defining project requirements, performing inspections, and participating in the evaluation of technical proposals. Education
