Job summary

You will serve as an Environmental Protection Specialist in the Environmental Affairs Branch ofMARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BUTLER . ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Major duties

You will act as an Environmental Camp/Station Coordinator and apply environmental theory and practices to ensure compliance and responsible stewardship of air, land, and water resources. You will assist units with spill response cleanup, and spill response plans and capabilities and will be expected to be on scene when applicable, discern when urgent solutions are required. You will conduct annual compliance inspections and assist with headquarters sponsored Environmental Compliance (ECE) in accordance with the Japan Environmental Governing Standards (JEGS) and will liaise with regulators to ensure compliance. You will establish, implement, and maintain a comprehensive multimedia program for environmental support services.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Establishing, implementing and managing a multi-media environmental program to achieve environmental compliance of air, land and water resources.
