Job summary
About the Position: Serve as an Emergency Management Specialist Program Manager for the Flood Control and Coastal Emergencies (FCCE) and Flood Risk Management (FRM) Programs with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Great Lakes and Ohio River Division in Cincinnati, OH.
Major duties
Serve as the Program Manager and Regional subject matter expert for the Flood Control and Coastal Emergencies (FCCE) and Flood Risk Management (FRM) Programs. Supervise the Readiness and Contingency Operations (RCO) Team workforce and work operation. Assist the Regional Contingency Operations Chief to oversee region-wide Response and Recovery Operations. Coordinate with FEMA, DOE and other agencies to coordinate exercise schedules to enhance the readiness posture within all LRD Commands. Represent the Commander in venues related to Readiness and Emergency Management. Accountable for timely delivery of quality work products and services from the team. Develop policies for the LRD commander and publishes directives for Division staff and Districts on Emergency Management programs.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Decision Making Emergency and Disaster Management Leadership Program Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
