About U.S. Army Joint Munitions Command

Tooele Army Depot (TEAD) is an US Army Military Installation located approximately 45 miles West of Salt Lake City, Utah. TEAD is a premier active joint ammunition storage site. TEAD is responsible for shipping, storing, receiving, inspecting, demilitarization, and maintaining training and war reserve conventional ammunition. Tooele’s Ammunition Equipment and Manufacturing Directorate (AEMD) designs and manufacturers ammunition peculiar equipment (APE) used in maintenance and demilitarization of munitions for all the Department of Defense (DoD). The Depot is in Tooele County and surrounded by the communities of Tooele, Grantsville, Stockton, and Rush Valley. The area surrounding the depot is as an urban center for a highly varied productive industrial and agricultural industries.

Job summary

Major duties

Sets up bars for operation, obtains cash bank and stocks service bar. Prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and wait staff. Keeps bar and work area clean and sanitary. Identifies persons who become unruly or who appear intoxicated, resolves the problem or seeks assistance in accordance with established procedures. Assures an adequate stock level is maintained, sets up storeroom and work area to permit easy access to stock items

Qualification

Qualifications: Meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic at the time of appointment. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory. Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. Skills and Knowledge: Skill in mixing drinks using alcoholic beverages, beer and soda. Applies simple arithmetic in calculating bills and making change. Ability to recognize intoxicated and unruly patrons. Highly Preferred: Highly Preferred Applicants will possess Serv Safe Bartending Certificate or documented bartending training. (Please Note: The certificate MUST be uploaded prior to the announcement closing to be considered as Highly Preferred) Experience must be reflected on Resume to receive credit.
